About the role

Singapore Furniture Rental Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing and communications team. This is a remote full-time position based in North Peninsular Malaysia (Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Perlis). As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of our marketing initiatives and helping to build brand awareness across our target markets. You will work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on schedule, whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your marketing expertise in the furniture rental industry and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking organization.

Key responsibilities

• Create, plan, and schedule daily/weekly content for social media, including posts, stories, captions, and short-form videos.
• Assist with copywriting, content planning, and developing creative ideas for marketing campaigns.
• Respond to comments and direct messages to maintain active engagement with our audience.
• Manage, organize, and maintain photo and video content libraries for easy access and future use.
• Explore and utilize AI tools to create and edit video content efficiently and creatively.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and other ad hoc marketing activities.
• Monitor basic social media and advertising performance and highlight any issues or areas for improvement to the team.
• Assist with online and offline event coordination, including attendee tracking, event setup, and social media promotion.
• Support the Founder and Leadership Team with content creation, public relations, and other communication needs as required.
• Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.
• Attend occasional on-site photo and video shoots as required for content creation and marketing activities.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or marketing support is preferred.
• Strong English copywriting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools, or a strong willingness to learn and explore new AI tools.
• Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
• Reliable and stable internet connection for work-related tasks and online communication.
• Candidates based in Northern Peninsular Malaysia, particularly Kedah, Penang, or Perlis, are preferred.
