Brand IQ, an award-winning provider of advanced data-driven advertising services, is looking for an analytical and technically minded Marketing Engineer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria.

You'll use scripting and automation and data exploration to develop practical solutions that improve digital advertising operations and campaign performance.

Responsibilities

• Gain a solid understanding of digital advertising platforms, campaign setup, targeting, bidding strategies and performance metrics
• Actively manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns to achieve business objectives
• Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
• Experiment with new technologies, tools and strategies to enhance campaign performance
• Work closely with internal teams and clients, gaining direct exposure to business challenges
• Translate data and insights into actions that drive measurable business impact

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in math, physics, computer science or similar
• Hands-on experience in software development (not vibe-coding), including scripting, automation tools, workflows and databases
• Understanding of basic marketing / digital advertising principles
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and turn ideas into practical solutions
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Advanced English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads
• Knowledge of JavaScript or any OOP language and SQL
• Familiarity with how the internet works (ads are mini-websites)
