Marketing Event Coordinator

Marketing and Event Coordinator Kapow Hospitality Group | Full-TimeBoca Raton, Delray Beach, and Fort Lauderdale

Kapow Hospitality Group owns and operates two Kapow restaurants in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, with a third opening soon in Fort Lauderdale, as well as MINŌ Omakase & Sake Bar in Boca Raton. We are seeking a highly organized Marketing and Event Coordinator to support all four locations. This role combines local restaurant marketing coordination with planning and executing private events. The position works closely with our Director of Marketing and restaurant managers.

Marketing Responsibilities

• Coordinate the marketing calendar and ensure promotions, signage, menus, and other materials are accurate, on brand, and in place at each location on time.
• Gather requests from restaurant managers, prioritize assignments, and follow each project through completion.
• Order promotional materials, décor, and event supplies, and coordinate delivery and installation.
• Work with printers, sign makers, advertising agencies, and other vendors on production, deadlines, and costs.
• Support local marketing partnerships, community events, and restaurant promotions.
• Help the team stay informed about relevant restaurant, hospitality, and social media trends.
• Track campaign results and prepare updates for the Director of Marketing.

Event Responsibilities

• Coordinate private events, larger parties, restaurant buyouts, and company events.
• Become familiar with important community and business events in each market. Represent Kapow Hospitality Group at relevant events and build relationships that lead individuals and companies to book events at our restaurants.
• Work with guests and restaurant teams on menus, timing, room setup, staffing, and special requests.
• Prepare and verify event details and BEOs so each location has clear instructions.
• Coordinate event décor, signage, supplies, and vendors, and provide on-site support when needed.
• Follow up after events and identify ways to improve the guest experience.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a similar marketing coordination role, preferably in restaurants or hospitality.
• Experience coordinating events and managing multiple projects across locations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across marketing, operations, restaurant teams, and vendors; set expectations, follow up, and keep execution on track.
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Familiarity with local restaurant marketing.
• Advertising agency experience is encouraged.
• Understanding of social media statistics and algorithms for reporting purposes is encouraged.
• Experience with Perfect Venue is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and availability to travel among our locations in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.
• Flexibility to support evening and weekend events.

This is a marketing and event coordination role. The person in this position will work with our marketing team, but will not be responsible for creating social media content or managing social media accounts.
