About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our dynamic marketing and communications team at AWAGYU SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Marketing Executive, you will play a vital role in executing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and supporting the development of compelling marketing materials that resonate with our target audience. This role is central to driving our brand awareness and engagement across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• On-Camera Content Creation & Presenting: Act as the primary on-screen talent for video content (e.g., product showcases, behind-the-scenes, live streams, customer engagement clips, and promotional videos) to build a strong brand personality and audience connection.
• Video & Multimedia Production: Plan, script, shoot, and edit engaging short-form and long-form video content using platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Campaign Execution: Develop, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to promote AWAGYU SDN. BHD. products and services.
• Content Curation: Create and curate high-quality marketing assets, including copywriting, graphics, videos, and daily social media posts.
• Community Management: Manage social media accounts and online communities, monitoring engagement, replying to comments, and actively responding to customer inquiries.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to identify emerging trends and new marketing opportunities in the local and regional F&B/meat industry.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Events & Brand Support: Support live events, product launches, and promotional activities from planning through execution.
• Database Management: Maintain marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Branding & Strategy: Assist in the development of marketing materials, branding guidelines, and overall communications strategies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience working as a Marketing Executive or in a similar marketing role, preferably within 1-3 years
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media management tools and marketing automation software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably Bahasa Malaysia
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting marketing data and metrics
• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities with capability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, email marketing and content strategy is highly desirable
• Experience in the food and beverage or luxury goods industry would be advantageous
