Job Purpose

To generate new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and promote the company's furniture products in the market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and develop new customers, dealers, distributors, retailers and business opportunities.
2. Visit customers, dealers, furniture shops, interior designers and project sites for business development.
3. Generate leads through market visits, references, online platforms and other sources.
4. Explain company products, features, pricing and offers to customers.
5. Prepare quotations and negotiate prices and commercial terms with customers.
6. Follow up with prospective customers and convert leads into sales.
7. Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
8. Maintain good relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
9. Coordinate with the Production, Design, Dispatch and Accounts departments for order execution.
10. Monitor competitor products, pricing and market trends.
11. Collect customer feedback and communicate it to the management.
12. Maintain daily sales visit reports, lead details, customer database and sales records.
13. Follow up on pending payments in coordination with the Accounts Department.
14. Participate in exhibitions, dealer meetings and promotional activities.
15. Support digital marketing activities such as WhatsApp, social media and online product promotion.

Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 13 years of experience in Sales & Marketing preferred.
• Experience in Furniture / Sofa / Interior / Building Material / Home Dcor industry will be an advantage.
• Freshers with good communication and sales skills may also be considered.

Required Skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer handling and relationship management.
• Strong follow-up and convincing ability.
• Knowledge of local market and customer network.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
• Ability to achieve sales targets.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
