Marketing Intern

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join QQ English in Cebu City, Cebu on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain practical experience in marketing and communications within a dynamic educational organisation. As a Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing team in developing and executing campaigns that promote our English learning services whilst gaining valuable hands-on experience in the marketing industry. This role is based on-site in Cebu City, Cebu.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including social media content, email campaigns, and promotional collateral

• Supporting the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various digital and traditional channels

• Managing and updating social media accounts, including posting content and engaging with followers

• Assisting with event planning and coordination for promotional activities and student engagement initiatives

• Supporting the maintenance of marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

• Gathering and analyzing marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and provide insights

• Collaborating with team members on special projects and campaigns as required

• Assisting in the coordination of communications with prospective and current students

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for campaigns
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is desirable but not essential
• Experience with content management systems or marketing automation tools is a plus
