Marketing Intern

Job Summary:

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team in executing day-to-day marketing activities, digital campaigns, content development, market research, and administrative tasks. The role is ideal for a highly creative, organized, and proactive individual who wants to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the heavy equipment industry.

The Marketing Intern will help strengthen ICON Equipment Solutions' brand presence, support customer engagement initiatives, and contribute to marketing projects across digital and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities1. Social Media & Content

• Assist in creating and scheduling content for ICON's social media platforms.
• Support the development of captions, graphics, short-form videos, and other marketing materials.
• Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
• Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Research relevant industry trends, topics, and content ideas.

2. Marketing Campaign Support

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and product launches.
• Prepare marketing materials such as presentations, flyers, product information sheets, and digital assets.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather product information, photos, and other marketing requirements.
• Help track campaign activities and deliverables.

3. Market & Competitor Research

• Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, customers, and market developments.
• Gather information on heavy equipment brands, products, applications, and customer segments.
• Assist in preparing market research summaries and presentations.
• Identify potential content and marketing opportunities based on market insights.

4. Events & Corporate Activities

• Support the Marketing team during company events, trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer activities.
• Assist with event preparation, registration, promotional materials, documentation, and post-event activities.
• Help coordinate event-related requirements with suppliers and internal teams.

5. Marketing Administration & Reporting

• Maintain organized marketing files, databases, photos, and digital assets.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly marketing reports.
• Track social media performance and campaign engagement.
• Support other administrative and marketing-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in marketing, digital media, content creation, and branding.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of video editing or graphic design is a plus.
• Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced business environment.
