The Marketing Trainee (Digital Focus) role is designed to support the marketing team in executing digital initiatives—from content creation to campaign execution. This role provides hands-on experience in social media management, digital advertising, and creative development, helping trainees build practical skills while contributing to real marketing campaigns. Ideal for students or fresh graduates passionate about digital trends, storytelling, and brand engagement.

How You’ll Drive Success

Social Media Management

• Monitor social media conversations, trends, and audience sentiment relevant to the brand and industry
• Conduct regular social media scanning to identify emerging trends, viral content, and platform updates that may present opportunities for brand engagement
• Research and monitor influencers, content creators, and online communities to identify potential partnership and collaboration opportunities
• Track and compile relevant industry, competitor, and consumer news from social and digital platforms, providing timely updates to the Marketing team
• Assist in preparing social media performance reports, insights, and recommendations to support content and campaign optimization

Marketing Operations and Project Support

• Assist the Marketing team in the execution of brand campaigns, promotions, events, and partnerships
• Support coordination with internal departments, suppliers, agencies, and external partners to ensure timely project delivery
• Conduct market, consumer, and competitor research to provide insights that support marketing initiatives
• Assist in the preparation of marketing presentations, reports, and campaign performance summaries
• Help monitor and organize marketing assets, promotional materials, and documentation
• Assist in event planning, logistics coordination, and on-ground event execution when required
• Track project timelines and follow up on deliverables to support efficient campaign implementation
• Perform other marketing-related duties and special projects as assigned by the Marketing team

The Expertise You Bring

Education

• Marketing, Communications, or any related field

Experience

• No prior job experience is required, but background in marketing is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills for digital platforms
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and current digital trends
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
• Research and analytical skills, including social media monitoring and trend spotting
• Creative thinking and willingness to learn new marketing tools, platforms, and technologies
