Marketing Intern

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Intern to support our content and marketing initiatives. The role will primarily involve writing blogs and educational news articles along with creating promotional content, social media posts, campaign communication, and basic video scripts. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, SEO, and brand communication.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Promotional, Social Media & Marketing Content

• Assist in creating content for social media posts, product promotions, and branding initiatives.
• Draft captions, headlines, promotional messages, and copy for digital creatives.
• Support content development for marketing campaigns, Meta ads, and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Assist in writing scripts for reels, promotional videos, product explainers, and other video formats.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions to improve content quality and effectiveness.

2. Blogs, Articles & SEO Content

• Assist in writing blogs, educational articles, and news-based content on relevant topics.
• Conduct basic research to understand topics, identify relevant keywords, and gather information from credible sources.
• Support the optimisation of blogs using basic SEO practices, including keyword placement, headings, meta titles, and meta descriptions.
• Assist in updating existing content to improve readability, relevance, and search visibility.
• Follow the content calendar and ensure assigned drafts are submitted within the given timelines.
• Proofread content for grammar, spelling, factual accuracy, and readability.
• Learn and follow the organisation's content guidelines, SEO requirements, and internal linking practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written communication skills and a good command of English.
• Basic research, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn content writing tools, digital platforms, and new formats.
• Attention to detail and the ability to incorporate feedback.
• Good time management, organisation, and teamwork skills.

Educational Qualification

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Mass Media, Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Candidates from other academic backgrounds with strong writing skills and an interest in content creation may also apply.
