Marketing Intern – Content Creation & Digital Marketing

About the role

SL Software Solutions SDN BHD is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Intern – Content Creation & Digital Marketing to join our Marketing Team in Ipoh, Perak.

This full-time internship provides hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, graphic design, video production and digital marketing. You will also have the opportunity to explore practical AI tools that help improve creativity and productivity in modern marketing.

You will work closely with the Marketing Team to create engaging content, support campaigns and events, and communicate our products and solutions to the right audience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content.
• Design social media graphics, posters, event materials, and promotional visuals.
• Film and edit short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and CapCut to improve content creation and productivity.
• Review and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
• Research competitors, industry trends, customer interests, and trending topics.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Digital Media, Design, Business or a related field.
• Strong interest in content creation, social media, and digital marketing.
• Basic knowledge of video filming and editing.
• Familiar with Canva and CapCut; knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is an added advantage.
• Understands basic short-form video trends, pacing and audience attention.
• Creative and able to think from the audience's perspective.
• Willing to learn and use AI tools for content creation, research, design and editing.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, responsible and comfortable sharing new ideas.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• A portfolio of previous content, design, photography or video work is an added advantage.
