What they need
As one of the first dedicated marketer for Korea and Japan, you will establish our brand in two markets where awareness is currently low. You will create and execute integrated marketing programs that generate high‑quality B2B leads, accelerate pipelines, and position us as a trusted partner. The role demands strength in digital and field marketing, localization, cross‑functional collaboration, and data‑driven budget management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Demand Generation
- Plan and execute multi‑channel campaigns—email, paid media, webinars, and in‑person events—to deliver a consistent flow of qualified B2B leads.
- Partner with Sales to define lead‑handoff criteria, refine scoring, and improve conversion rates from MQL to closed‑won.
Brand Awareness & Market Entry
- Build a 12‑month go‑to‑market plan that lifts visibility from a low base in each country.
- Grow share of voice across the right channels for each market:
- Korea: Naver (search, Blog, Café), KakaoTalk/Brunch, key local forums.
- Japan: note, Wantedly, Peing, and other country‑specific communities.
- Global / dual‑market: LinkedIn, Google, X (Twitter), YouTube
- Drive thought‑leadership PR, analyst briefings, and partner co‑marketing to accelerate credibility.
Digital Marketing & SEO/SEM
- Own and optimize Korean‑ and Japanese‑language web properties and blogs.
- Run paid search and paid social programs; A/B‑test keywords, creatives, and landing pages to maximize ROI.
Content Localization & Translation
- Translate and adapt global assets—brochures, case studies, nurture emails, ad copy—ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
- Source local customer success stories and tailor messaging to each market’s business culture.
Event & Field Marketing
- Select and manage high‑impact trade shows, executive roundtables, and partner seminars in both countries.
- Oversee budget, vendors, logistics, and post‑event follow‑up sequences.
Marketing Budget & Performance Analytics
- Allocate and track regional budget; shift spend based on data‑driven insights.
- Monitor KPIs (MQLs, SQLs) in Salesforce and regular dashboards for APAC leadership.
Internal Alignment
- Keep regional teams informed with campaign calendars, competitive intel, and localization best practices.
- Provide ad‑hoc sales enablement materials that reinforce localized messaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
- 6 + years of B2B marketing success in Korea/Japan; experience marketing into Japan/Korea is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build brand awareness from a low starting point.
- Deep digital skill set: SEO/SEM, paid media, marketing automation, social.
- Fluent in Korean/Japan and English; conversational Japanese/Korean preferred (or strong willingness to learn quickly).
- Hands‑on expertise with CRM and automation platforms (Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot) and analytics tools.
- Proven budgeting, project‑management, and vendor‑management skills.
- Comfortable switching between strategic planning and hands‑on execution in a fast‑growing environment.
