Location: Tidel Park, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (with minimum 10 days of travel per month)

Salary: 6,00,000 – 7,20,000 per annum (Gross CTC)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Building Doctor's brand is seen in 60+ outlets, thousands of homes and every video that brings a worried customer to us. We are looking for a marketing leader who will own that brand: the creative standard it is known for, and the demand it generates.

You will own the annual marketing plan and budget, set the creative bar for every piece of media we put out, and run the funnel from first impression to qualified lead, and from qualified lead to revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand and Creative Direction

• Own the annual marketing plan and budget, and deliver against agreed outcomes.

• Own brand positioning, brand guidelines and consistency across every channel and every outlet.

• Own the creative standard: scripts, films, key visuals and design language. Commission and approve all flagship content.

• Track market and competitor activity, and bring those insights into product and pricing discussions.

Demand Generation

• Own the full funnel (reach, engagement, lead, qualified lead) and the metrics at each stage.

• Set the content strategy across owned channels, including the video library that drives most of our enquiries.

• Improve marketing-sourced revenue, not just lead volume.

People, Vendors and Cross-Functional Working

• Build the marketing team's capability across creative, content and performance marketing.

• Manage agencies, vendors and production partners on cost, quality and timelines.

• Work closely with Franchise Development, Customer Experience, Product and Sales so marketing effort lands where the business needs it.

Systems, AI and Reporting

• Embed AI tools across creative and performance workflows, and keep the team ahead of new tools.

• Publish marketing analytics and a clear monthly performance report to the COO.

• The creative standard is visibly raised: our work is recognisable before the logo appears.

• The brand is applied consistently across the network, with no off-format material in circulation.

• Qualified lead volume grows and lead quality improves.

• Marketing cost per acquisition falls year on year.

• The marketing team produces high-quality work without daily direction.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate or postgraduate in Visual Communication, Design, Mass Communication or Marketing; MBA is an advantage.

• 6 to 9 years across brand, creative and performance marketing, including at least 2 years leading or guiding a team.

• Exposure to both consumer (B2C) and channel/B2B marketing.

• Strong understanding of the Tamil Nadu market.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong creative judgement: able to protect the brand line and still deliver work quickly.

• Strong commercial thinking: comfortable being measured on business outcomes.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative and performance marketing (mandatory).

• Fluent in English and Tamil (spoken and written).

• Confident presence; a strong presenter in front of a room, a customer or a partner.

• Willing to travel a minimum of 10 days per month (travel expenses reimbursed as per company policy).

• Based in Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai.
