Position Overview

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of marketing and creative initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between marketing, communications, creative, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are prioritized, completed on time, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage marketing and creative projects from intake and scoping through development, review, approval, production, deployment, and completion.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day project management contact for Marketing, Communications, and Creative teams.
• Facilitate project prioritization and provide visibility into workload, deadlines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor multiple projects simultaneously, proactively identifying and escalating risks, bottlenecks, and competing priorities.
• Act as the primary administrator of Asana, ensuring projects are accurately tracked, assigned, and maintained.
• Build and maintain Asana workflows, templates, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Establish and improve project intake, briefing, review, approval, and closeout processes.
• Coordinate the flow of creative work through development, stakeholder review, approval, production, and deployment.
• Maintain standards for file management, version control, approvals, and asset archiving.
• Manage and organize marketing and communications assets for easy accessibility and historical reference.
• Track campaign execution details, including timelines, channels, placements, formats, and creative versions.
• Coordinate delivery of approved creative assets to internal teams, agencies, vendors, and media partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, timing, and execution across channels.
• Partner with leadership to enhance project management processes, governance, tools, and operational standards.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements to increase transparency, accountability, and team effectiveness.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing marketing, creative, communications, or agency projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Asana or similar project management platforms.
• Strong project planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience developing and improving operational workflows and processes.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting marketing campaigns and creative production workflows.
• Knowledge of asset management, traffic coordination, and creative deployment processes.
• Experience creating project reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Background working with agencies, vendors, or external partners.
• Experience implementing process improvements within a marketing organization.
