Job Overview

The Marketing Trainee supports the planning and execution of marketing activities to promote the organisation’s brand and programmes, ensuring effective engagement and alignment with organisational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Drive student engagement and recruitment initiatives to achieve or exceed enrolment targets.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with student recruitment agents.
• Build and sustain partnerships with high schools to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Provide programme counselling sessions to prospective students/parents.
• Develop a good relationship between the college and potential students, parents, teachers, and other related parties.
• Attend to all walk-in, email enquiries and incoming calls that are related to enrolment and admissions matters.
• Represent the college at recruitment events to attract prospective students and support the organisation of Open Days, Scholarship & Registration Weeks.
• Perform the day-to-day administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of prior experience in course counselling, sales and marketing, as well as promotional activities in the education industry, are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Must possess good communication skills in oral and written in Malay and English
• Must possess good communication skills in Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
• Must be able to gain transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, organization, problem-solving and time management.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, analytical and good organization and planning skills.
• Willing to travel
