MarTech Project Lead (Salesforce Distributed Marketing)

We're seeking a MarTech Project Lead to support two high-profile marketing technology initiatives: the migration and ongoing management of email communications within Salesforce Distributed Marketing and the implementation of a new Consent & Preference Management platform.

This individual will serve as the business lead, partnering closely with Marketing, Technology, Compliance, Operations, vendors, and agency partners to gather requirements, manage project plans, align stakeholders, and drive successful execution and adoption. This role is ideal for a Marketing Operations, MarTech, CRM, or Marketing Technology professional who enjoys connecting business needs with technical solutions and leading enterprise platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the business-side development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of email templates within Salesforce Distributed Marketing.
• Partner with Marketing Cloud developers, creative teams, and business stakeholders to intake requests, prioritize enhancements, and support new functionality.
• Facilitate briefing processes, gather requirements from SMEs, and ensure successful deployment of marketing communications.
• Serve as the business project lead for the implementation of a Consent & Preference Management platform, partnering with internal teams and external vendors throughout delivery and future project phases.
• Translate marketing and business requirements into scalable MarTech solutions.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, communications, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Support user adoption, governance, and continuous improvement efforts as the platforms evolve.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading MarTech, CRM, marketing operations, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Distributed Marketing, or similar marketing automation platforms.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with consent management, customer preferences, marketing governance, and compliance-related initiatives.
• Ability to quickly navigate complex organizations and drive projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Experience serving as a Product Owner, Business Lead, Marketing Operations Manager, or MarTech Program Manager is highly desired.
