Martial Arts Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts and experience in teaching physical education, particularly to children. This role involves educating students in martial arts and taekwondo disciplines, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive environment for personal growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Educate students in martial arts techniques, including taekwondo and other relevant disciplines.
• Carry out lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
• Teach physical education concepts while incorporating behavior management strategies.
• Provide childcare support during classes, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.
• Organize and lead training sessions in the dojang.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Promote teamwork and discipline among students through structured activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring all equipment is safe for use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching martial arts or related physical education fields.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques applicable to children.
• Ability to climb, demonstrate techniques, and actively participate in martial arts activities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students of various ages.
• A passion for fitness and promoting healthy lifestyles within the community.
• Certification in first aid/CPR is preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs.
