What they need
- Perform masonry work including concrete, hollow block, brick, plastering, and other related construction and repair works.
- Construct, repair, and maintain walls, floors, partitions, pathways, curbs, and other masonry structures.
- Perform plastering, cement finishing, patching, grouting, and surface preparation as required.
- Conduct repair and restoration of damaged or deteriorated masonry and concrete surfaces.
- Measure, mix, and prepare cement, mortar, concrete, and other construction materials according to required specifications.
- Read and follow basic measurements, drawings, work instructions, and site requirements.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, dimensions, and finishing of masonry works.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment required for masonry and construction work.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report defects or maintenance concerns.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
- Follow proper construction practices, safety procedures, company standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to ensure work is completed properly and on schedule.
- Report work progress, materials needed, and any site or structural concerns to the immediate supervisor.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Service Supervisor or Management.
