Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on the construction site.

Duties

• Construct, repair, and restore structures made of brick, block, stone, and other materials.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Perform drywall installation and finishing as needed for various projects.
• Execute concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth and durable surfaces.
• Apply caulking and sealants to enhance the durability of structures.
• Collaborate with other trades such as trim carpentry to ensure seamless integration of materials.
• Conduct site assessments and assist in construction estimating for upcoming projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields is essential.
• Knowledge of roof installation techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with drywall installation and finishing processes is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong skills in concrete finishing, caulking, and trim carpentry are advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• A commitment to safety practices on the job site is required.
