Mason

Role Overview

The Mason is responsible for cutting, shaping, and laying stone, brick, and block for construction and restoration projects. This position requires technical skill, strength, and the ability to follow detailed plans while ensuring structural integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal & jobsite safety

• Cut, shape, and lay block, brick, and stone according to specifications

• Restore old or damaged masonry works as needed

• Mix cement and mortar for use in various applications

• Place and finish concrete flat work

• Read and follow technical drawings and plans

• Accurately layout footers and foundations

• Texture and polish masonry surfaces

• Maintain tools, workspaces, and equipment

• Observe and report any unsafe conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
