Mason

The Mason is responsible for performing masonry, concrete, and related construction works in the construction, renovation, and maintenance of gasoline stations and other company facilities. The position ensures that all assigned works are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform masonry and concrete works for gasoline station construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
• Construct and repair concrete walls, floors, foundations, curbs, drainage systems, catch basins, pavements, and other structural or civil works.
• Perform plastering, CHB laying, tile setting, grouting, finishing, and other masonry-related activities.
• Prepare and mix cement, sand, gravel, mortar, concrete, and other construction materials according to required specifications.
• Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, layouts, and work instructions.
• Conduct proper leveling, alignment, measurement, and finishing of masonry and concrete works.
• Assist in excavation, backfilling, demolition, and preparation of areas for construction activities when required.
• Construct or repair drainage channels, concrete slabs, ramps, sidewalks, and other site improvements.
• Ensure proper installation and finishing around gasoline station structures, equipment foundations, canopies, service areas, and other designated facilities.
• Operate and properly care for basic masonry tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, electricians, plumbers, welders, and other construction personnel to ensure proper sequencing of work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and properly store tools and materials after use.
• Inspect completed work and immediately report defects, rework requirements, unsafe conditions, or material concerns to the supervisor.
• Strictly observe company safety policies, construction safety procedures, and applicable environmental and site regulations, particularly those applicable to petroleum/gasoline station construction.
• Perform other related construction and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least High School graduate or equivalent; vocational training in masonry or construction is an advantage.
• With relevant experience as a Mason, Construction Mason, or similar position.
• Experience in gasoline station, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction is an advantage.
• Knowledge of masonry, concrete works, plastering, CHB laying, tiling, and general construction practices.
• Able to read basic construction plans, measurements, and layouts.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual and outdoor construction work.
• Willing to work on-site, under varying weather and project conditions.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when required by the project.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions and established work procedures.

Working Conditions

• Primarily assigned to construction sites, gasoline stations, terminals, and other company facilities.
• May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, outdoor conditions, and physically demanding work.
• Strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols is required, especially when working within or near operating petroleum facilities.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
