Mass Production Engineer

The Mass Production Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful transition of photonic devices from design to high-volume manufacturing. This role combines technical expertise in device characterization with process development and project collaboration to support next-generation product innovation.

Responsibilities

• Define verification plans by creating test strategies, analyzing device performance, and providing feedback for design improvements.
• Characterize photonic devices at both chip-level and wafer-level, covering active and passive integrated components.
• Develop data programs for post-processing and analysis to support performance evaluation.
• Collaborate on product development by participating in cross-functional projects for next-generation photonic devices.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned to ensure smooth production and innovation workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Semiconductor Physics.
• Hands-on experience in characterization of active and passive integrated photonic devices, including OO, EO, and OE measurements at DC and AC levels.
• Experience in test setup development, maintenance, and equipment resourcing.
• Solid understanding of guided-wave optical device working principles.
• Strong self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Project management experience is a plus.
