Position Overview

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional massage and wellness treatments to clients. The role involves assessing clients' needs, performing appropriate massage techniques, maintaining a clean and relaxing treatment area, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various massage techniques based on the client's needs and preferences.
• Conduct a brief consultation with clients before each treatment.
• Explain available massage services, procedures, and after-care recommendations.
• Ensure clients are comfortable and properly positioned throughout the session.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper hygiene of the treatment room and equipment.
• Prepare and sanitize massage tools, linens, oils, and other supplies before and after each session.
• Monitor the client's comfort and adjust pressure or techniques when necessary.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for clients at all times.
• Provide a relaxing and welcoming experience to clients.
• Keep accurate records of treatments and client concerns when required.
• Report any concerns, incidents, or unusual client conditions to the supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining adequate supplies and inform management of items that need replenishment.
• Follow company policies, health and safety standards, and proper massage therapy procedures.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• With relevant experience or training in massage therapy is preferred.
• NC II Massage Therapy certification is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in different massage techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-service oriented and professional.
• Physically fit and able to perform massage treatments for extended periods.
• Clean, organized, trustworthy, and attentive to clients' needs.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, or shifting schedules when required.
