Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct patient assessments to understand their specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
• Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans
• Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize pain management and overall patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Skilled in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and customize treatments accordingly
• Knowledge of occupational health principles to support client well-being in workplace settings
• Previous med spa experience is highly desirable for delivering specialized aesthetic massage services
• Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for practicing massage therapy
