Massage Therapist

Duties

• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage to address client concerns
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and anatomy understanding
• Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support their ongoing wellness goals
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by maintaining CPR certification and adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards
• Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and customizing sessions for individual needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to optimize treatment outcomes and enhance client satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in massage therapy, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a strong focus on patient care
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance
• Prior experience in pain management, occupational health, or med spa environments is highly desirable
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming, professional atmosphere for clients
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans based on individual health conditions
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and ensure client comfort throughout sessions

Pay: $30.42 - $40.00 per hour
