Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: Commission
• Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:

Become a part of the Killington Grand Spa Team that prides itself in superior service and guest experience. Assist with Killington Grand Spa guests' comfort in a courteous and professional manner while performing massage treatments. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Perform chair massage, 25-, 50-, and 80-minute comprehensive Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Hot Stone massages, using professional draping techniques
• Perform detailed verbal intake and consult with clients to determine massage type and products to best fit their needs
• Actively listen to clients’ feedback during sessions and make adjustments to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
• Create a calming and welcoming atmosphere for clients, ensuring their comfort and relaxation throughout the session
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, sanitizing equipment and surfaces after each session
• Communicate with clients to understand their concerns, provide guidance on aftercare, and recommend appropriate self-care practices
• Consult with clients to determine specific areas of focus and preferences for pressure and intensity

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be certified from an accredited massage school/center with a minimum of 500 hours of education/training
• Vermont Massage Therapy, Bodyworkers, and Touch Professionals license required
• Previous experience in a spa preferred
• Must be physically able to stand and perform massages for extended periods of time
• Background check required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires exemplary customer service skills
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Must be able to work a flexible/non-traditional schedule, including weekends and holidays
