Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
• Provide a range of massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, to address acute pain management and promote relaxation.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings when necessary.
• Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to enhance their overall health.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism in the treatment environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Qualifications

• Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pain management techniques, and physical examinations.
• Experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and patient care.
• Ability to perform assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
