Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology and anatomy knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations for pain management and relaxation.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and health history in compliance with privacy standards.
• Stay current with industry best practices and certifications such as CPR, occupational health protocols, and med spa procedures.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care.

Skills

• Strong patient service orientation with excellent client communication skills.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and prenatal massage.
• Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively.
• Experience in patient assessment and pain management strategies.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices.
• CPR certification and familiarity with occupational health standards.
• Previous med spa experience or background in wellness environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced setting.
