Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and post-session care instructions
• Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session by adhering to proper draping and hygiene protocols
• Keep detailed records of treatments administered, client feedback, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations
• Stay informed about current trends in occupational health, pain management, and med spa therapies to enhance service offerings
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a welcoming environment that fosters trust and relaxation

Experience

• Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Hands-on expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments
• Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required or must be obtained upon hire
• Familiarity with pain management techniques and client communication strategies to ensure effective treatment outcomes
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology principles relevant to therapeutic massage practices

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
