Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals
• Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and pain management strategies
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans and client progress
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation protocols and medical guidelines
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized care
• Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education

Experience

• Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, trigger point therapy, and occupational health massages
• Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management principles
• Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans
• CPR certification is required to ensure client safety during treatments
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for workplace wellness programs

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
