Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to each client’s needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming and professional environment.
• Stay informed about current massage therapy practices, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and occupational health guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and hygiene standards to ensure client safety at all times.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in various massage modalities.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pain management techniques, and medical terminology.
• Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with specialized massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, sports massage, and deep tissue massage is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational health practices and experience working in med spa settings is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
