Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and specific pain points.
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and document client progress in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and occupational health protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to perform effective treatments safely.
• Ability to assess patient needs accurately through client communication and physical evaluation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and therapeutic treatments.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; state licensure or certification as a licensed massage therapist is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically.
• Prior experience working in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of pain management techniques and client assessment procedures to optimize treatment outcomes.
