Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to address pain management and promote relaxation.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively target areas of tension and discomfort.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and client progress.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries or concerns.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and occupational health practices to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to support comprehensive patient care.
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the treatment area.

Requirements

• Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.
• Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues while maintaining professionalism at all times.
