Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will deliver a variety of therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help enhance patient recovery and contribute to their overall health journey through personalized care and attentive client communication.

Duties

• Perform massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to identify areas of tension or pain and develop effective therapy strategies.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management techniques to support ongoing wellness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and session details in compliance with clinic policies.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
• Stay current with industry best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities related to massage therapy and pain management.

Skills

• Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and comfort.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques.
• Skilled in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage.
• Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans.
• CPR certification is required; additional certifications such as trigger point therapy or prenatal massage are a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of occupational health principles relevant to workplace injury prevention and recovery.
• Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
