Massage Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our wellness team, committed to providing exceptional massage services that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments tailored to each client's needs, ensuring a positive and rejuvenating experience. Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massages based on client preferences and needs
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their health history, areas of concern, and treatment goals
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices
• Keep accurate records of each session, including client notes and treatment plans
• Promote wellness services and products to enhance client satisfaction and retention
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education requirements to ensure high-quality service delivery

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist or equivalent credential
• Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a welcoming attitude at all times
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards and record keeping
• Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new therapists
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
