Position Summary As a Massage Therapist at Village Fitness, you will deliver exceptional wellness services within a premier club environment. Your role goes beyond providing massage therapy—you will create a seamless, luxurious, and personalized experience for every guest. This position blends technical skill with a hospitality mindset, ensuring every interaction leaves our members feeling valued, cared for, and refreshed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Consult with members and guests to assess needs, screen for underlying conditions, and recommend tailored massage services.
• Deliver massage services with skilled techniques that prioritize guest comfort and therapeutic effectiveness
• Guide members through our services, explaining treatments, packages, and wellness benefits with courtesy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support whole-body wellness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting spa environment in alignment with our club standards.
• Set up and break down treatment areas, ensuring all workstations are organized, sanitized, and member-ready.
• Manage linens and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, and sterilization between sessions.
• Escort members to and from treatment rooms, providing a polished, welcoming experience.
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation for member sessions.
• Uphold all applicable safety, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Maintain current state license requirements as necessary through continuing education and professional advancement courses
• Accurately manage service billing and documentation by the end of each day.
• Engage in light physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Contribute to the overall club experience by assisting colleagues and performing other duties as assigned.
• Support team operations, participate in staff meetings and training, and contribute positively to the overall wellness team environment.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance member experience and wellness operations.

Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional wellness certifications are a plus.
• Must hold and maintain a current state Massage Therapist license; additional certifications in advanced massage modalities preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse membership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to club-specific protocols and member expectations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to maintain high energy and stamina throughout multiple service sessions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs for portions of the workday.
• Frequent bending, stooping, standing, and walking during service delivery.
• Manual dexterity and physical endurance to perform massage treatments for extended periods.
