MISSION

Create a relaxing “spa” experience for members and guests. Greet each client with a positive and inviting attitude, and assist each one with any requests or problems he/she may have. Handle each client in a friendly and professional manner; make each one feel special. Customize your services to provide personalized attention, specific to the needs and wants of the individual. Promote the sale of massage services.

REPORTS TO:

Spa & Salon Director

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Position Type: Part-time 6-12 hours/week

• To create and deepen relationships with Members we know and do not yet know, that will add value to their membership, enhance their sense of belonging and sense of community within the club, spa and salon.
• Be prepared and arrive at least ten minutes early for each appointment; start and end on time
• Enthusiastically greet and assist each client in preparation for his/her massage
• Perform massage therapy services professionally, catering to the client’s needs
• Keep all massage rooms clean and stocked for the next client or therapist
• Promote massage services as well as other club programs and services
• Strive to create loyal customers and ongoing clients; encourage clients to book continuing and future appointments
• Strive to build a referral business
• Offer parting wishes to all clients as they leave
• Communicate frequently with staff members who are maintaining the reservation system to stay aware of any changes to schedule.
• Participate in club programs to promote massage and wellness services
• Maintain required certification(s) and/or license(s)
• Attend mandatory meetings
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Spa & Salon Director CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS

REQUIREMENTS

• Arrive to work on time

• Work the hours and schedule assigned

• California state massage license
