Master cutter

Master Cutter – Abaya Shop

Main Duties:

• Take accurate customer measurements.
• Make patterns for ready-made and custom-made abayas.
• Cut fabric carefully and reduce waste.
• Guide the tailors on stitching and design details.
• Check fittings and arrange any needed alterations.
• Check the size, shape, and finishing of each abaya before delivery.
• Complete orders on time and follow the shop’s work schedule.
• Keep the cutting area, tools, and fabrics clean and organized.
• Inform the shop manager about fabric shortages or order delays.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an abaya master cutter.
• Good knowledge of abaya styles, fabrics, patterns, and fittings.
• Able to cut different designs accurately.
• Able to work well with tailors and understand customer requests.
• Careful, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

Reports To: Owner

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
