Master Data Analyst – SAP & Data Governance

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually + 10–20% target bonus

About the Role

An opportunity is available for a Master Data Analyst to manage SAP master data, improve data quality, and support data governance across manufacturing and supply chain operations.

The role involves working with Supply Chain, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate data, efficient business processes, and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update SAP master data, including Material Masters, BOMs, Routings, Production Versions, and Source Lists.
• Manage SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) workflows, approvals, and data validations.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
• Conduct data audits, investigate errors, and implement improvements.
• Support new product launches by coordinating master data requirements.
• Monitor data quality KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials.
• Train internal teams on master data processes and governance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in master data management, data governance, or data management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) .
• Understanding of supply chain or operational processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP MDG and SAP Fiori.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data stewardship principles.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
• Background in manufacturing or product-focused industries.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $80,000–$90,000

Target Bonus: 10–20%
