Master Data Executive

Job Purpose

• To ensure accurate and timely management of business data, MIS reporting, customer renewal/expiry databases, lead distribution, and sales-support activities across locations.
• The role will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy, generating actionable reports, supporting renewal closure activities, and providing timely databases to internal teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Data Management & Correction
• Scrape, collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple internal and external resources.
• Identify data discrepancies, missing information, and duplication and ensure timely correction.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity across reports and databases.
• Coordinate with relevant internal teams for clarification and correction of data.
• MIS Reporting
• Prepare and circulate Website Renewal Reports for renewal closure activities across all locations.
• Prepare Journal and Practice Renewal Reports to monitor location-wise renewal closure.
• Prepare CentaxOnline Renewal Reports for follow-up and closure activities across locations.
• Prepare Website, Journal, Practice, and CentaxOnline Expiry Customer Reports for respective locations.
• Prepare and share Marketing Team Review Reports for performance monitoring.
• Maintain and periodically update the Subscription Tracker for Taxmann and Centax products.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc MIS reports as required by management and internal teams.
• Ensure all MIS reports are accurate, complete, and shared within defined timelines.
• Unpaid & Expiry Database Management
• Periodically prepare and distribute unpaid customer databases among sales teams.
• Reshuffle databases based on location, team allocation, or business requirements.
• Track the movement and status of databases shared with respective teams.
• Support sales teams by providing relevant customer information required for renewal and follow-up activities.
• Lead Management & Distribution
• Check and validate leads received through the CRM and other sources.
• Monitor lead status and ensure timely CRM lead closure and contact approvals.
• Distribute leads to respective locations and sales teams as per defined allocation criteria.
• Ensure proper and timely allocation of leads to avoid delays in customer follow-up.
• Maintain lead distribution records and provide reports whenever required.
• Coordinate with teams regarding pending, duplicate, incorrect, or unassigned leads.
• Database & Sales Support
• Provide requested customer databases and reports to sales and other internal teams.
• Support sales teams with renewal, expiry, unpaid, and customer-related data.
• Generate location-wise and product-wise databases as required.
• Assist management in analysing data for business planning and performance monitoring.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, filters, sorting, and data validation.
• Good understanding of MIS reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with CRM systems and lead management.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage large databases and multiple reports simultaneously.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple locations and teams.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in MIS, Sales Operations, Call Centre Operations, CRM, or Business Reporting.
• Experience in handling renewal/expiry databases, sales leads, and customer data will be preferred.
• Experience with CRM and call-centre/sales reporting systems will be an added advantage.
