Master Data Management Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain IBM MDM solutions for customer, product, supplier, and other master data domains.
• Configure and customize MDM data models, business services, workflows, matching rules, and survivorship rules.
• Develop and support MDM integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, XML/JSON, and ETL tools.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, matching, merging, and survivorship activities.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data validation, analysis, troubleshooting, and data reconciliation.
• Work on MDM data models, entity management, business rules, and data quality processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to IBM MDM applications, integrations, and data quality.
• Prepare technical design documents, test cases, deployment guides, and operational documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Work closely with Data Governance, Data Quality, Integration, and Application teams to ensure master data consistency across enterprise systems.
• Follow development standards, version control practices, and DevOps processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM / IBM MDM Custom Edition / Standard Edition.
• Strong understanding of MDM data modeling, entity management, matching, merging, and survivorship rules.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and web services.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Experience with ETL/Data Integration tools such as IBM DataStage, Informatica, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory.
• Understanding of Master Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality concepts.
• Experience in MDM integration with enterprise applications and downstream/upstream systems.
• Familiarity with Git/version control and DevOps tools.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
