Master Data Management Expert

🚀 Senior Informatica MDM Specialist | Banking | EU

We are looking for a Senior MDM Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Informatica MDM to join a large-scale Data & Analytics initiative within a regulated European banking environment.

This is a senior technical role combining MDM platform implementation, enterprise data integration, and data governance . We are looking for someone who understands both the technical aspects of MDM solutions and the business requirements of managing critical enterprise data.

🔹 About the project

The project focuses on building a sustainable enterprise Master Data Management capability across key banking data domains, including Customer, Organisation, Product, and Reference Data .

The goal is to establish trusted, consistent, and reusable master data that supports business operations and functions such as Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Customer processes.

The initiative combines MDM technology, system integrations, data quality, data ownership, stewardship, and governance within a regulated EU banking environment.

🔹 Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MDM solutions using Informatica MDM.
• Configure data models, matching and merging rules, survivorship rules, golden records, and hierarchies.
• Develop and maintain MDM workflows, APIs, and Data Quality rules.
• Integrate MDM platforms with source and consuming systems.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and platform performance improvements.
• Contribute to data governance, data ownership, data lineage, and data quality initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and related business domains.

🔹 Must-have skills

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Informatica MDM .
• Practical knowledge of entity resolution, matching and merging, survivorship rules, and golden record creation.
• Experience with hierarchy management and MDM workflows.
• Knowledge of Data Stewardship and Data Quality.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, and SQL.
• Understanding of data ownership, authoritative data sources, data lineage, auditability, and data controls.
• Experience working with enterprise or cloud data platforms.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Background in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Architecture, Engineering, Data Governance, Risk, and Business teams.

🔹 Nice-to-have skills

• Informatica IDMC.
• Informatica Customer 360.
• MDM platform and legacy master data migrations.
• Event-driven integrations.
• Cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of GDPR, DORA, or BCBS 239.
• Experience with federated data domains or federated Data Governance.
• Previous MDM programmes in banking.

Experience with Customer 360 or Customer Master Data in a large banking environment is particularly valuable.
