Master Data Officer

We are looking for a Master Data Officer to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, quality, and consistency of our master data.

In this role, you will manage and maintain material and finished product master data within the SAP environment, work closely with different teams to address data requirements, and identify opportunities to improve data quality and processes. Your work will directly contribute to smooth business operations, accurate reporting, and better decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform master data cleansing to ensure records are accurate, complete, consistent, and free from duplication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement effective master data processes.
• Analyze datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and potential errors, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate the setup, validation, and periodic maintenance of material and finished product master data.
• Ensure master data activities comply with established work standards, policies, procedures, and data governance requirements.
• Conduct a Proof of Concept (POC) to validate manual processes within SAP.
• Develop and maintain proper documentation of master data policies, processes, and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to master data management and data quality.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and relevant external partners to ensure timely and accurate master data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in SAP Master Data Management.
• Experience working with a major ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Strong understanding of master data management, data quality, and data governance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
