Master Data Officer

ECCO Tannery (Thailand) in Ayutthaya, as a part of ECCO Leather Group currently is looking for a highly qualified and international minded individual to fill in the position as: Master Data Officer

Key Responsibilities;

Master Data & Pre-Production Management

• Lead the preparation, creation, and maintenance of Product Master Data for new leather products in line with testing phases, production milestones, and launch timelines.
• Own the accuracy and integrity of key manufacturing master data, including BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing, and Product Information, ensuring timely system readiness.
• Validate and release master data to support production planning, testing, and mass production.
• Manage and control master data changes, including ECRN (Engineering Change Request Notice), ensuring approved changes are implemented accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Monitor data readiness against key milestones and proactively identify and resolve risks that may impact testing, production schedules, or product launches.
• Analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to improve data quality and process reliability.
• Establish and maintain Master Data processes, work instructions, documentation, and business rules in accordance with ECCO Leather standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce data preparation lead time, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall process efficiency.
• Ensure high-volume data preparation, entry, verification, and updates are completed accurately, consistently, and on time.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Product Engineering, Planning, Scheduling, Production/Shop Floor, Master Data Super Users, Drop Planning, and Testing to ensure data accuracy and production readiness.
• Represent the Pre-Production function in Data Management, Data Governance, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a systematic and disciplined approach when managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and changing production requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in Data or Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience managing large and complex datasets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Data Standardization, data analysis, and systematic problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with SAP system etc.
• Good command of Microsoft Office 365 Business Central.
• Understanding of Production Routing and Manufacturing Processes is an advantage.
• Experience in leather/Tannery Manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly meticulous and able to work effectively with tight timelines and changing priorities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and locations.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and via email.
