Master Mechanic A Tech

Job Overview

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and air brake system repairs to ensure safety compliance.
• Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to optimize performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs involving diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or extensive background working within the automotive repair industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission repair, and suspension system maintenance.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, auto body repair, auto estimating, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of automotive safety standards including ADAS calibration and air brake systems.
• Proficiency in using schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
