Master Mechanic

Role Description

The Master Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in West Valley City, UT. This role is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical issues, completing repair orders, and performing scheduled and preventive maintenance. The Master Mechanic will collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to prioritize work, maintain accurate records, and meet service timelines. This role also involves mentoring junior technicians, following all safety and compliance standards, and supporting a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment.
Qualifications

• Strong maintenance and repair abilities, including Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Preventive Maintenance skills.
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment and complex vehicle systems.
• Advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., ASE) or equivalent experience in advanced automotive repair.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service manuals, and repair software.
• Commitment to safety practices, shop cleanliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in automotive technology is preferred.

Pay: $35.61 - $62.88 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
