At Wiers, our Master Mobile Diesel Technicians have the experience and autonomy to take on advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics right at the customer’s location. You’ll own your service territory, work directly with fleet customers, and build relationships that go beyond the repair. Compensation

• $37–$44 per hour
• Performance-based bonuses throughout the year

The Lifestyle

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the trusted expert fleets rely on when they need service at their location.

• Diagnose and repair diesel systems on-site—from routine maintenance to complex issues
• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
• Keep fleets compliant, reliable, and operational
• Representing Wiers with professionalism, consistency, and skill

What You Bring

• 6+ years of diesel technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, not required)
• Ability to handle heavy components and work in field conditions
• Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certifications
• Manufacturer certifications (Cummins, Detroit, Navistar, etc.)
• Mobile or field service experience
• DOT inspection experience
• Advanced diagnostic training
