Master Scheduler/PMO Manager

Our state government client is hiring Senior Manager PMO – Scheduling to schedule quality Lead program. This involves development, implementation, and continual improvement of scheduling frameworks, systems, policies, and processes (including management of Oracle Primavera P6 environments).

• Deep Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency, including enterprise scheduling, integrated master scheduling, baselines and schedule quality
• Lead development, implementation, and continual improvement of scheduling frameworks, systems, policies, and processes (including management of Oracle Primavera P6 environments).
• Manage high-quality portfolio schedule reporting, milestone reporting, analytics, and provide schedule assurance over project gates and compliance for submissions and funding requests.
• Provide expert scheduling/project controls advice, embed governance standards, address emerging schedule risks, and lead the internal Scheduling Community of Practice.
• Strong Schedule / Planning leadership, rather than solely hands-on scheduler experience
• Proven experience developing, implementing and uplifting Schedule Management frameworks, standards, governance and assurance
• Strong project controls capability, including schedule change control, assurance, compliance and portfolio reporting
• Major infrastructure experience, preferably across energy, transmission, utilities, transport or another regulated environment
• Ability to translate complex scheduling information into clear executive-level reporting and insights
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across senior leaders, Project Directors and technical teams
• NSW Government infrastructure delivery experience would be highly regarded
• Experience leveraging AI to improve schedule reporting and analytics would be advantageous
• Energy sector experience is strongly preferred
• Experience performing similar PMO, scheduling or project controls functions for significant infrastructure projects, preferably in energy, transmission, transport, utilities or another regulated sector.
• Demonstrated ability in schedule change control, including the establishment and control of schedule baselines.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and improve scheduling frameworks, governance, assurance, reporting and compliance processes across a major project portfolio.
• Strong capability in Primavera P6 environment administration, integrated master scheduling, milestone reporting, schedule quality and schedule risk identification.
• Ability to translate complex schedule and project performance information into clear advice, executive reporting, dashboards and decision material for senior leaders and government stakeholders.
• Advanced stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing skills, including confidence working with project directors, delivery teams, consultants, government agencies and Roadmap entities.
• Sound understanding of NSW Government infrastructure delivery, assurance, project gates and portfolio reporting would be highly regarded

The Hiring Manager is particularly interested in candidates who have personally led the development or uplift of scheduling frameworks, governance, standards and assurance across a significant project portfolio.

Daily rate-Up to $2000+super

Location-CBD

Contract- Till Feb 27 with possible extension
