We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Tailor and Seamstress to join our team. This role requires a passion for sewing, precision, and the ability to deliver high-quality finished products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating custom garments, performing intricate hand sewing, and ensuring each piece meets our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform clothing alterations to improve fit, style, or repair garments with precision and care
• Construct garments from scratch, following design specifications and patterns
• Tailor men's wear including suits, shirts, trousers, and formalwear to ensure proper fit and style
• Tailor women's wear such as dresses, skirts, blouses, and evening wear with attention to detail
• Execute hand sewing techniques for delicate finishing touches or intricate designs
• Collaborate with clients or designers to understand specific tailoring requirements
• Maintain sewing tools and equipment in excellent condition
• Ensure all garments meet quality standards before delivery or fitting sessions
• Stay updated on current fashion trends and tailoring techniques to enhance craftsmanship

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress with expertise in clothing alterations and garment construction
• Strong skills in men's and women's tailoring techniques
• Proficiency in hand sewing methods for detailed work
• Excellent attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination
• Ability to interpret patterns and technical drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment fitting principles
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients or team members
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
