Master Trades Specialist

Mr. Mike’s Home Repair is a Christian owned and operated company that values Honesty, integrity, leadership and trust among other things. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Tradesman to join our growing team. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs and alcohol, tardiness and laziness.

Everyone on our team is paid on W2

This position is designed for a true high-level tradesman — someone who has broad residential construction knowledge, takes pride in craftsmanship, solves problems independently, communicates professionally, and can help lead by example in the field.

We are not looking for someone who only knows one or two trades. We are looking for a versatile professional who can handle complex residential repair and remodeling work with confidence, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality residential repair and remodeling work
• Handle advanced carpentry and complex field problem-solving
• Assist with difficult or specialty projects
• Help maintain job quality and workmanship standards
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and field management
• Support and assist other technicians when needed
• Help identify jobsite issues before they become larger problems
• Maintain organized, efficient, and professional job sites
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Preferred Experience

Strong experience in multiple areas is highly preferred, including:

• Carpentry
• Estimating
• Team leadership
• Proficient with Tile
• Complete remodeling of bathrooms and kitchens
• Trim work
• Framing
• Drywall
• Flooring
• Siding
• Decks & fences
• Doors & windows
• Punch work
• Residential repairs
• Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
• Jobsite leadership

Experience running your own business, managing projects, or leading crews is highly valued.
