Required Skills

• NPI / hardware supply chain and procurement experience (qualification lifecycles, BOM structures, PO execution)
• Materials management — end-to-end PO execution and material/delivery tracking
• OEM/vendor coordination across suppliers
• Program management — proactive risk identification and mitigation
• Clear, structured cross-functional communication (present status, problems, and options)
• Data center / infrastructure supply chain background preferred
• Proficiency in leveraging AI Tools for automation

Core Tools & Systems

• Google Sheet or Excel (trackers, data analysis), AI tools (assisted research, data automations)

This is a Material and Program Manager position within Infrastructure Supply Chain Engineering NPI (New Product Introduction). It combines hands-on materials management (end-to-end PR/PO execution across EVT/DVT/PVT) with broader program management across sourcing, engineering, suppliers, and finance.

Role Scope

This is an end-to-end role owning both the material pipeline and the program coordination for assigned NPI programs — from part-number validation and PO execution through the transition to Mass Production.

Purchase Requisition (PR) & Purchase Order (PO) Execution

• Own the end-to-end PR/PO lifecycle for NPI hardware programs
• Determine the correct PO type (two-way vs. three-way), submit PRs, and track PR→PO
• Confirm PO issuance and monitor delivery through to receipt
• Drive shortage resolution and material availability

Part-Number Validation & Supplier Alignment

• Validate part-number alignment via PLM and verify quotes and vendor part numbers against technical specifications
• Coordinate part-number creation and cross-vendor alignment

Risk Review & Reporting

• Prepare and present program risks to all stakeholders
• Resolve issues proactively and sync all Red items with the appropriate leadership—no surprise escalations

NPI-to-MP Transition

• Manage part-number migration and system validation across the NPI → Mass Production transition, with supplier confirmation
• Execute risk buys for long-lead-time materials during NPI

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate across OEM/ODM, sourcing, engineering, suppliers, and finance

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Build and maintain process documentation and operational playbooks
• Train and onboard new team members
